Bob is the President/CEO of Tippett Company and has been a licensed Real Estate Broker in Washington, since 1978 and Oregon (Tippett Company of Oregon, LLC), since 1979. He took over the family business in 1979 and has provided a wide variety of professional real estate services to the Columbia Basin, including specializing in commercial, industrial and agricultural real estate, as well as land development, commercial investments, property management, financial consulting and farming.

Bob Tippett has served the Tri-Cities community through his business and personally through his experience, knowledge and integrity. Bob’s main focus and goals has always been to make Tri-Cities a great community to live and work in. In 2006, he was honored with the Realtor Community Service Award by the Tri-City Association of Realtors.
Bob has served on the TRIDEC Board, TRAC Board, Columbia Trust Bank Board and has supported many political campaigns that benefit our community.
His memberships include TRIDEC, Pasco Chamber of Commerce, Tri-City Chamber of Commerce, Tri-City Association of Realtors, CCIM, AWB and Commercial Broker’s Association. Bob has provided support to various community resources such as Young Life, Boys & Girls Club and Jubilee Youth Ranch.
Bob’s family business includes his daughter Ashley Tippett-Laird, his son-in-law Charles Laird, his adopted son Kirt Shaffer and his brother Mike Tippett. Of course, he couldn’t do any of this without his wife, Merideth (Vice-President), of over 35 years! When “Hurricane Bob”, has some down time, he enjoys annoying the office staff with puns, fly-fishing, golfing, traveling and spending time with his 5 granddaughters, Jessica, Avery, Bella, Yala Blu and Amelia, and his grandson Ze Huxley.

Garland has been with Tippett Company since 1992. He has been a licensed Real Estate Broker in Washington since 1993. His extensive knowledge is derived from over 17 years of agricultural real estate appraisal and lending experience and over 14 years of agricultural and commercial Real Estate Brokerage and management experience.

Garland’s extensive knowledge and attention to detail has earned him the nickname YODA. After graduating from Oregon State University, he began his journey in agricultural real estate appraisal and lending and agricultural and commercial Real Estate Brokerage and management. Garland enjoys bowling and auto racing with his two adult sons. He’s the pit crew for their stock car races and for drag racing their 1967 Mercury Comet. Garland’s expertise is unmatched. He is an extremely valuable asset to Tippett Company.

Charles Laird joined Tippett Company in 2004. He started Tippett Company’s residential real estate division and helped the company break into high-end residential development. Charles has been a licensed Real Estate Broker in Washington since 2004. He has varied and extensive experience in both commercial and residential real estate listing and sales.

Charles graduated from Northwest Nazarene University in 1999 with a degree in Environmental Chemistry. After working briefly in that field, he crossed over to real estate and found his true passion.
Born and raised in Scotland, Charles brings some interesting culture to the company. When Charles is not working, you’ll find him fly-fishing on the banks of Kelly Creek. He also enjoys watching and playing soccer, golfing and traveling and is in love with the boss’s daughter—his wife, Ashley. Charles and Ashley are expecting twins in October 2007.
Charles holds memberships with the Home Builder’s Association and Marketing Council, CBA, Tri-City Association of Realtors, Tri-City Association of Realtors Grievance Committee and CCIM candidate, he is also on the Board of a non-profit organization called Water for Life and Livelihood.

Ashley has worked for Tippett Company since 1995. She keeps the books for our eleven entities, manages our retail and office buildings and has been a licensed real estate agent in Washington, since 1995.

Ashley graduated with what she thught was a useless Psychology degree from Northwest Nazarene University in 1999. Then she joined the family business full time and realized it could not have prepared her any better. She now keeps the books, manages our retail and office buildings, and keeps the office running as smoothly as possible.
Ashley is known as “Bob’s Cyclone” and when she’s not holding down the fort, enjoys traveling, cooking, obsessively cleaning, eating and shopping (of course!).

Kirt joined Tippett Company in 2004 after obtaining his real estate license. Kirt develops our own assets and also works with other commercial property investors and businesses that need location placement. He specializes in land acquisition, commercial property development, tenant representation, buyer and seller representation and investment property analysis.

Kirt has 13 years of retail business management and operations experience. Kirt’s other certifications include being a CCIM candidate, BOMA member and CBA member.
Kirt has been dubbed the office “water boy” and excels impressively at this position. When Kirt is not buried in business, he is volunteering as a mentor for the Boys & Girls club, impersonating a golfer on various Northwest courses, and last but not least, keeping up with his wife, two daughters and their activities, from camping to hiking in the great outdoors!

Stephanie joined Tippett Company in March 2007, after 13 years in the legal service. She provides support to the Tippett Company team and runs the front office. Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband, two boys, entertaining friends and family, i.e. being the "hostess with the mostess", reading and scrapbooking.
